Book Covers for Deborah Levy – Serbian Edition

Client: Prometej; Reka collection (modern fiction)

Brief: This project includes the design of three book covers for the Serbian editions of novels by Deborah Levy: Swimming Home, Hot Milk, and The Man Who Saw Everything.

Created for the Reka collection by Prometej, the covers were developed in response to the editorial direction and guidelines provided by the editor-in-chief. The goal was to create visually coherent, literary cover designs that align with the identity of the collection while reflecting the psychological intensity and thematic complexity of Levy’s writing.

The designs balance restraint and atmosphere, allowing typography and imagery to support the text rather than overpower it, in keeping with the expectations of contemporary literary fiction.
