I collaborate with authors and publishing houses on illustrations and illustrated maps developed alongside a text — for book covers, interior spreads, special editions, and visual elements accompanying a publication.
With a background in book cover design and editorial illustration, I work closely with the written word, paying attention to rhythm, atmosphere, and audience. Whether a map or a standalone illustration, each image is conceived as a narrative tool: a way to situate a story, suggest a world, or open a visual dialogue with the reader.
Projects are developed in conversation with editors and authors, with care for format, production constraints, and long-term use — from print to communication materials surrounding a book.
If you’re looking for illustrations that expand the reading experience rather than simply decorate it, I’d be happy to discuss your project.
Some stories ask for a map. Others for an image.
"I loved working with you! This won’t be the last time I am sure."
